Huiros are important to the indigenous music of the Andes & are traditional Percussion instruments from the Andes, & have a rich pre-Colombian tradition. Huiros have parallel crevices along the top which are scratched back & forth with a metal fork or wood stick to make a rhythm. There are three models: Gourd, Horn, and Bamboo.
