Peruvian mythology & folklore declare that 'Ekeko' is the God of Abundance. Traditionally depicted as a man with a moustache wearing customary Andean clothes. He is encumbered baskets of food, bags of grain, money, domestic goods, and/ or anything & everything that a person is thought to need or desire to lead an affluent life. Also, it is well-known that a person is not supposed to buy an Ekeko for themselves; it is only to be presented as a gift.
